TROUT LAKE RUN

The Trout Lake Run is an annual running event hosted by staff and students at the local Trout Lake School and enjoyed by the community as a place to come together. The course is a relatively flat one, with gorgeous views of Mt. Adams and the valley farmlands. The 5K and 10K Courses are ideal for families and their pets to go for a run, while the half-marathon makes for an excellent spring run. This run also serves as a major fundraiser for the school and as such 100% of the proceeds are donated to the school to allow students the opportunities to travel and study other places out from under Mount Adam's shadow. In the past years, students have had the amazing opportunity to stretch their wings and travel beyond the boundaries of their comfort zones, learning and serving the fragile ecosystem of Catalina Island, in the Navajo Nation of Arizona, the Hawaiian Islands, and the desert wastes of Eastern Oregon.
